The German painter, sculptor and photographer, Manfred Kern, recognised the expressive power, which can be found in visual art from an early age. Even in his school days, the artistically gifted student brought the colourful designs of free expression into the educational institute. During his university studies and his later independent business ventures, he still busied himself with compositions, sculptures and photographs. Over the years, this resulted in paintings with many different stylistic influences.
In addition to this, he has sculpted spheres with different designs and characteristics, predominantly made of metal. For a short time the so-called “KERN-Kugel” was patented worldwide due to its industrial worth.
In recent times, the artist Manfred Kern has applied himself increasingly to abstract designs. The extensive work of the artist is available worldwide as a limited edition and personally signed in both a printed and reproduced form. A chronological catalogue of works is currently being developed.
